Halloween

Time to put up the pictures from Halloween. To tell you the truth I didn't get Jacob or BriLynns pictures taken till today. What can I say...I forgot to take them. I did get the older kids done since they wore their costumes to school. I was so excited to have BriLynn wear this flower baby costume. Kevin's Mom and I made it (mostly Kevin's Mom, I'm no good at sewing) Danika wore it when she was seven months old.Whenever I said to smile this is what she didHere is Jacob about to take flight as Superman.Luke and Max after Preschool. (I hope you don't mind me posting this Heather)Danika went as a cat, you can't see her whiskers in the picture. Andrew the power ranger. I found his costume at the DI for four bucks.I think it is awesome that the Principal dressed up. One cool Elvis if you ask me!Just some cute pictures of the kids as we waited for the parade to start.

I'm curious about what you guys do your kids Halloween Candy. I was talking with some friends at lunch today and one friend said they would get twenty pieces and have to put the rest away. I just let the kids eat whatever they want. Usually they get sick after a few pieces. What do you do?

I don't have any set policy on the candy. Usually they get what they eat while tick or treating, and then it gets put away. They get one or two after meals. (depending on the size of the treat) Then on special occasions we have movie nights and they can bring their candy out and have some while we watch the movie. But like yours the usually get sick after not too many treats, so they save them better than me! By the way, your kids are adorable in their costumes.

SOOO Cute!! I'm really mean. Jakob gets one piece of candy a day this year. I'm still trying to get his body strong. Otherwise, I'm more flexible.

My kids declared that the candy should last until the first of December!

It is gone as of today!! I didn't do a very good job of keeping it from them!

Cute, cute!

I am a Nazi mom. I make them keep their buckets in my bedroom, and they can only have candy after they've finished homework and dinner. But, they really don't have that much. When I go through to check everything, I put half of it away to put in stockings at Christmas. Ssssshhh...
(that only works if there is nothing Halloweenish on the wrapper.)

Adorable pics! My Andrew saw the picture of BriLynn in her stroller and said, 'Awww...what a cute baby!"

About the candy...I usually start out saying they can have 2 or 3 pieces a day - if they eat a good meal or something, but after awhile I get sick of policing it and just let them have whatever. They don't usually eat enough to worry about. :)

LOL, that's great you dressed them back up! I bet Jacob loved that again and maybe confused when you weren't going back out to get more candy! I love all of their costumes, especially the one BriLynn is wearing. Aren't you crafy! I stink at making things.

So I've eaten some of Olivia's candy but I don't let her have at it, she was staring to sneak the candy at houses that we went trick or treating to. My mom would take the candy away when we get home (that sounds rude but it wasn't) and she would give us 1-2 pieces a day and it literally did last until Christmas or longer. That is if I didn't sneak in and find the hiding place and get some more! ;)
