Happy Birthday Boys!!!

Today was Andrew and Jacobs birthday. Andrew turned seven and Jacob three. We decided to forgo a party, (I know shocking. For those of you who don't know I love to throw birthday parties.) and have a family night.I tried to make their cake look like a volcano. I got the idea from Trina, it's not as good as hers but I tried. I like Jacobs puffy cheeks on the right side of the picture.
I could fit three candles in the dinosaurs mouth. I thought Jacob might get a kick out of that. I think BriLynn enjoyed the cake Happy Birthday boys. Mommy loves you sooooooooooo much!!!

Fun Fun and Fun

I hope your Christmas was wonderful and that you have a great new year. Have you made any resolutions? I have one. I'm going to floss at least three times a week. I hate it, it's so time consuming and I have sensitive gums. Is it just me or does anyone else hate flossing? Oh well, that is my goal for the new year, wish me luck. Oh I guess I have another goal, this:To get all of my recipes onto this program. Kevin got me this cute purple notebook for Christmas. It will stay in the kitchen. I'm excited that I'll have all of my recipes at the push of a button and I can easily find them. No more searching through my recipe box. I can create my meal plan on it and it will give me a shopping list. It also tells you the nutrition value and an approximate cost of what your groceries will be. The program does more, I'm still trying to figure it out. Plus it will be nice if the kids are on the computer and laptop I'll still be able to get online. Danika got a Squawkers McCaw for Christmas. It's pretty fun. She wanted me to take a picture to copy for a book she is making of their adventures together, silly girl. Here are some random pictures I thought I'd post. Look at these cuties
Like Father like Son
I'm such a mean Mom. Instead of helping my son get out of the stroller he is stuck in, I run and get the camera ha ha.
Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Family Pictures

While we were in Missouri we got family pictures taken. It's the first time the whole family has been together for four years. BriLynn was putting rocks in her mouth. I used to think it was funny when people would say they could "just eat them up, their so cute". I find myself saying that all the time now.

This is Kevin's Mom and Dad.

More Fun

I wanted to post some videos of BriLynn but they wouldn't load. You won't believe how improved she is in her dancing skills ha ha. Here is a picture of Lukie in front of Kevin's parents house. They had fun rolling tires down the hill with Grandpa. The tire that went the farthest won. We also helped chop some wood. The wood splitter was pretty cool to watch. Andrew had fun.

BRILYNNS 1ST BIRTHDAY

Our beautiful girl turned one while we were in Missouri. Here are some pictures of the celebration. I tried to make her cake look like a baby block.
Danika wanted to help write her name on the cake.
A big smile for the camera ha ha.
She wasn't quite sure at first.

I think she liked it.
The clean up.

Four Wheelers

The kids had a blast with the four wheelers. Grandpa Westwood has a trailer attached that the kids rode in. We rode the four wheelers to the Precious Moments Chapel which is close to where they live, to have a picnic.

It was a chilly ride so it was great to hop in the hot tub afterwards and warm up.

Whew...

Man it's December, I need to change my background. We had a great trip to Missouri! I think I'll post a little at a time. The kids did sooooo good. I was really impressed with how well they did. Okay here we go...
The day we got there, the girls went to a Ballet. It was Cinderella and Danika loved it. Here are some pictures. At the Tea Party with the Prince. Danika had to pose with her wand in every picture, silly girl.It was a bit long for them but they had a great time. Thanks Aunt Karin for getting the tickets

Things I'm Thankful for...

My friend Amy posted things she was thankful for last year during the month of November. I thought this was a great idea. I may do things a bit differently but for my first thankful post...I'm thankful when children listen and obey.

Halloween

Time to put up the pictures from Halloween. To tell you the truth I didn't get Jacob or BriLynns pictures taken till today. What can I say...I forgot to take them. I did get the older kids done since they wore their costumes to school. I was so excited to have BriLynn wear this flower baby costume. Kevin's Mom and I made it (mostly Kevin's Mom, I'm no good at sewing) Danika wore it when she was seven months old.Whenever I said to smile this is what she didHere is Jacob about to take flight as Superman.Luke and Max after Preschool. (I hope you don't mind me posting this Heather)Danika went as a cat, you can't see her whiskers in the picture. Andrew the power ranger. I found his costume at the DI for four bucks.I think it is awesome that the Principal dressed up. One cool Elvis if you ask me!Just some cute pictures of the kids as we waited for the parade to start.

I'm curious about what you guys do your kids Halloween Candy. I was talking with some friends at lunch today and one friend said they would get twenty pieces and have to put the rest away. I just let the kids eat whatever they want. Usually they get sick after a few pieces. What do you do?
