This is the best product!!!

So as many of you know I have naturally curly hair. Thanks to flat irons I straighten it most of the time. I have learned to love my hair but one thing always annoyed me. Flyaways. Wow this is sounding like a commercial. Well I am sad to say that grey hair has already begun for me. After babies I loose a lot of hair. Some of the hair that grows back is grey and kinky. You can see them sticking up and it drives me bonkers. Well I was looking online about products to use and came across this one. I got it and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It works so good.  It's John Frieda's Full Repair and it looks like mascara. The little brush smooths down the trouble spots without a greasy look. If you have any issues with unruly small hairs this is a great fix. Just thought I would share as I think it's a great product.

Now to find a product that will clean this up he he

BriLynns haircut

There once was a three year old who saw some scissors. "Those look fun" she said. Then she thought,

 "I've seen mommy use those on daddy, I know what to do with these."  

Excuse the massive arm in the photo ha ha. It doesn't do justice for the cut she made.
"Oh no" Mom said. "I guess I'll try to fix it the best I can."

She is the first of our children to try and cut their own hair.  I'm no professional but I think it turned out cute.

She's still young, so I'm crossing my fingers that this is the only time she feels like being her own beautician.

Before and After

Kevin's parents have a hardware business. If your interested you can look them up as Westwood Cabinet Hardware on ebay. I couldn't see how you search for sellers but if you type in knobs and handles you can find them by looking at the seller. It's cheaper than you can find in the store and they have quite a variety. While in Missouri I was helped ship our the orders and had the thought...we don't have knobs or handles in our kitchen. I picked some knobs out but they didn't have any matching handles so we figured with as small as our cupboards are the knobs would work fine. They gave them to us and said "happy birthday" to me :)  Here is the before

It may not be a huge difference but I think they look nice.  It's also nice to pull on a knob and not dig under the drawer to pull it out. Thanks Ma and Pa :)

Egg hunt at G&G

I really think I gained 10 pounds on the drive out here. I snacked the whole way. We left around 5:20ish am and arrived in Missouri at 1:30 am. Sure saves a lot of money just to drive through. Plus not stopping saves on a hotel and a headache with having to drag all the bags and kids into a room. Conference weekend was really relaxing. It was nice not to worry about packing all the kids church clothes as well. 

The kids enjoyed the Easter Egg hunt. Grandma and Grandpa's backyard was a perfect place, so many hiding places. The comical thing about the picture with all the men (this was done after they went to the Priesthood session) was that out of the 8 guys, four are wearing Bruce's suits.
