Summer is here!

The kids kicked off summer with a gathering of friends. There was about 25 kids here. Can you say crazy! Most of them were Danika's and Andrew's age so it wasn't that bad. Now if I had 25 two year olds here I'm sure I would have pulled my hair out ha ha.
I hope to focus on keeping my kids entertained and happy this summer. They are only little once. I want them to have fond memories of Summers at home. I started a blog of Summer ideas for kids. summerideasforkids.blogspot.com. If you have any ideas of fun crafts, games, activities etc. you have done with kids please share.
Here is a picture from our "A" day.
Their paper craft Animals turned out cute. Even BriLynn had fun coloring and putting it together. Thats the struggle I'll have, keeping kids between the ages of 2-10 interested.

Bridger Rocks!

Chopper Five and Nadine Wimmer came to Bridger Elementary today. The kids spelled out READ with their bodies on the cement. They were one of three schools chosen to implement a reading program. From what I've heard it was a program the LDS Church chose to do and provided the volunteers. My friend said that they want it to become a world wide program within three years. The kids really loved seeing chopper five touch down at their school. I'm not sure when it will air. Nadine said that it would be either Wed. or Thurs. of next week, it will be fun to see them on the news!

Ahhh

First of all I wanted to share this cute picture. Jonathan is starting to smile more which is fun and I love this onsie that my Mother gave him. There is also a bib that says "Little ladies man" which is adorable too.
Danika has enjoyed playing her violin and we are so proud of her. This is her with her friend Scott at their last performance of the school year.On this Mothers day I'm thankful for my Mother and Mother in law. I'm also thankful to be a mother. Tomorrow Kevin and I will have been married for 11 years. It has flown by so fast! He is the epitome of a husband and father. Love you sweetie!!!

Blessing, Derby and Silliness

We blessed Jonathan in church today. He was such a good baby. I often wonder if it's just me or if every mother worries that their child will cry during the blessing or have a blow out (babies can be really loud with that). Once again Kevin did a wonderful job. I'm grateful for a wonderful Priesthood holder in our family. (Not to mention a hot one) Shh don't tell Bishop I said that ha ha. I believe Jonathan is our caboose. With the other children I would feel like someone was missing. Jonathan completes our family. Look at this handsome hunk in my Moms arms.
Also this last Saturday Andrew participated in his first Derby. He was so excited. They did six heats. He won first on three, second on another than fourth on two. All in all out of 25 cars he was in the 7th place. The boys thought it would be funny to put goggles on the baby.
This little girl can melt my heart one minute than make me want to pull my hair out the next. She is in that independence stage and "no" is one of her favorite words right now.
