Birthday Boy's

Ya know I worried that our boys wouldn't like to have a birthday on the same day but it doesn't seem to bother them in the least. I think the four years apart helps. When they each open gifts we don't hear "hey, I wanted that".
This year they both thought a sonic cake would be cool.  I looked up his head online and this is how it turned out.

Happy Birthday boys I'm so thankful for each of you. Our family wouldn't be the same without you two!!!

I was born on my brother's birthday (11years apart) and we loved it. He still calls me him favorite birthday present :)
The cake looked AWESOME!

My two sisters share a birthday. It has really inspired a bond between them that would not have otherwise been there.
They get together every year for their day!

PTA.....ugh. It is hard. You feel so alone and feel like you are the only one who cares what happens. However there are people who care. There are people who are willing to take on the PTA challenge! It is good that you are starting now on your board for next year, it will give you plenty of time to fill the slots and re-fill the slots! I remember doing that so many times.
Make sure to get notes home to those Kindergartner Moms about your meetings. They are ready and willing to help...they just need to be asked. When you hold your meeting, make it known that you need a replacement. There is a possibility that nobody will say anything about taking your place, but wheels will start turning and soon someone will come forward.
(I really tried not to make to big of a deal out of it. I did not want to scare people off. I also let them know that it is more of an organizing people position, not a DO IT ALL position.)
I hope that helps. Good luck.
