Kevin was ordained the Bishop in our ward today. I have an amazing husband! I know he will do great. It was so nice to have family here with us. The first thing Andrew said was "So now I go to Dad for the candy?"
Wow is right!! Kevin will be a great bishop. You two are such good examples to us all. Best of luck with all that is ahead. Great photos! :) p.s. love Andrew's comment!
WOW!!!! That is a really good way to put it! How neat that Bruce and Chris came back for the setting apart. Well, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Not that it's a bad thing, you'll be blessed. But it's not easy I'm sure!
Wow. Congrats Kevin! I heard that the bishopric was being reorganized and kinda suspected that Kevin might be up on the list for that position. You're right - he'll do a great job. And Andrew's comment in priceless!
So excited for you and your family. You may not seem some of the blessings you will recieve until after he is released, but you will truly be blessed! He has such a wonderful wife to support him too!
Bishop, huh? I can't say I'm surprised. I remember at one Institute Council meeting, Bro. Clark was teasing Kevin about being a Bishop before he was 35! Ha ha!
I can't think of a better "bishop's wife". My current bishop was called at age 34, and he and his wife have six kids. They are amazing examples to me, and so are you.
YAY!!! Bishop Westwood :) Sandra, we just had a new Bishop put in and he said the Stake President told him, when we look for a new Bishop, we look for a very caring, compassionate, loving person.... and then we call her husband to be the Bishop! I know this is SO true of you :) you are so wonderful. Your ward and your life will be blessed :)
Oh my goodness! I can't believe it! Amazing. Congrats to him. I heard about this in church today as we were getting our new bishopric. I about fell off my seat when they said Kevin was the new bishop in your ward. Caught me off guard.
The new bishop is Scott Cornelson, his 1st counselor is Corey Mikkelson, and his second counselor is Colby Goodliffe. All really great guys and they will be an Awesome bishopric. I hear 2 other wards are getting redone too.
As for my niece, she passed away from natural causes. She had spina bifida and was just diagnosed with scoliosis and the doctors think that her body had just had enough and quit working.

What a great way to explain to a kid some important changes...I mean the candy switching hands has got to be sorted out and understood right?
Wow. Congrats Kevin! I heard that the bishopric was being reorganized and kinda suspected that Kevin might be up on the list for that position. You're right - he'll do a great job. And Andrew's comment in priceless!
