A Break Please!

It's a date night tonight and it's a good thing too after what happened this afternoon. Here is a little explanation:
(Kevin coming home for lunch from work)
Me: I don't think you want to be at home for lunch today.
Kevin: Why?
Me: Jacob just dumped a gallon of blue koolaid I just made all over the floor.
Kevin: Oh no
Me: Ya, I got it all wiped up but I'll have to mop it like four times to get all the stickiness gone.
Kevin: Well did you get a picture of it before you cleaned it up to put on your blog?

Does anyone want to go with me tonight?

Yikes! Blue Kool Aid does not sound fun. Hope you had a better night.

I was just catching up on your blog and I have to say I can't believe all the things you've been up to! What are you doing mowing the lawn? I went through nesting phases too, but I can honestly say that I never vacuumed the garage or mowed the lawn.

I am grateful too for the gospel and the counsel we receive. We can find peace in this crazy world.

And I can relate to the blue kool-aid. I would've lost it. Hope you had a good date night though. I miss our trades. :)

My little boy recently left a blue popsicle on the carpet and it melted! No Fun! Hope date night was fun! Sounds like you deserved it! Yes, we are still in Logan. Ironically we are now in the Green Meadows ward! I went from Greenfield to Green Meadows! It's down on the southwest side of town. Not too far from Woodruff Elementary! My in-laws live in the yellow house now, they moved here from California last year. So every once in a while you may still see us driving by or wandering around the nieborhood! I'm glad you're doing well!

Motherhood sounds magical. I'm not a patient person, so I will not be as good as you. Everytime I see you guys, I get to see how great of parents you guys are. I'm hoping to be half of what you are, that would be pretty good for me. :)

You know, I just had to laugh when I read that because I had a similar situation the other day. Andrew is suddenly obsessed with Otterpops - why he waited until the end of the summer I'm not sure - but we keep telling him they need to be frozen before eating. He didn't believe us, and one morning he ripped a non-frozen one open with his teeth. I'm pretty sure my cupboards are still sticky.

I really hope you did get a break!!
