I promise we don't beat him!

Yep his face is all scratched up yet again. He must really like battle scars. Just after his forehead was beginning to heal this happens. He was jumping on the neighbors tramp and jumped off onto CONCRETE...ouch!It got his chin, nose and forehead. We though his nose might have been broken but we couldn't tell. I'm sure it would be painful but it already hurts with all the scrapes. Have any of you or your kids had a broken nose? Can they even do anything for them? Tomorrow the nursery leaders will probably wonder what we are doing to him but I promise we don't beat him!

You will certainly have some funny stories to tell his children!! No broken bones here, but I know they x-ray the nose and make sure it doesn't need set. So when it heals it will heal straight. Then they tape it to secure it. Thats for adults. I dont know if it is any different for children.

OWIE!

When Alex bashed his nose on the stairs I wondered the same thing. It was REALLY swollen, bruised and miserable looking.

It wasn't broken, but he looked "really awesome" for a few days!

I hope he heals quickly.

Yikes! I bet that hurt. Poor kid. I noticed at church today, but didn't think to ask what happened. Hopefully he can leave it alone and it can heal fast.

Bummer!! OUCH! Yeah, X-rays are a good idea if you really think it might be broken. Good Luck!

Whatever. I am going to report you to the authorities! Just kidding. My kids always look like that, and we don't beat them either. Poor little guy!

Poor little guy! My little sister broke her nose when she was 3 or 4. My parents were at the gas station, and she got up and leaned against the door, without my dad seeing. He opened the door and she feel out, hitting the ledge of the platform where the gas pumps sit. He nose gushed blood forever. The took her in, but couldn't do a whole lot back then. It was swollen for week, and now she has a slight bump on it. (She is now 21 and on a mission.) I don't know what they can do now, but I hope that its not broken!

ouch... poor little guy. sounds like the tramp needs to scoot a little away from the concrete if it can.

I keep hoping I break my nose so I can have a nose job...jk
