My friend mentioned she wanted to do something to get her kids up in the morning. Since schools starting up and it's time to get them back on schedule she invited us to breakfast at the park at 8:00. It did get the kids up and going knowing they would be going to the park to see friends. And all she needed to say to me was doughnuts and I was there. Thanks we had fun time!
I think it's a great tradition to start, the day before school starts to have doughnuts in the park for breakfast! Man that's a tradition I could do everyday he he.

That is a great idea...maybe we could think of other excuses too. For example, tomorrow is the first of the month so we need to have doughnuts in the park, or it's Friday so we need to have doughnuts in the park. I can already feel my jeans getting tighter.

How fun! I'd take a doughnut anyday, too! Good luck with school! Ours started today. School lunch is $294.14 a year per student. What am I going to do next year when I've got two kids eating lunch?! Ugh!
Mmmmm.... I love donuts too. And I could use a donut day right about now. School doesn't start here for 2 more weeks. They start on the 2nd. I saw Nat's comment about lunch and I was just thinking yesterday how much we are going to be spending... I don't know what it is for the year but it is $2.50 per day per kid and I have 2 this year and 3 in school next year. That is $100 a month in school lunches! They have really good choices though and every day they get to choose an entree of the day or a salad bar with soup and a sandwich. It sounds pretty yummy. I just hope they actually eat it and it doesn't go to waste.

That is a fun tradition. Mak started a couple of days ago...it seemed soon to be going back to school but I am not complaining. It was so fun to see Trudy and Baily. I miss them too. We just need to get together. Baily sure is big.
